DISPLAY
The Panasonic ToughPad FZ-G1 MK5 has a 10.1 inches display that is better than the FZ-M1, responds very well to touch, and helps you stay focused even in rugged terrains and harsh weather conditions. It has an 800-nits high-definition display and anti-glare coatings, giving you clarity when used outside in the sunshine. It offers you more flexibility on your job when working at the field with your heavy protection gloves or when you work in the rain, or you have got wet fingers, you do not have to worry as you can always adjust the touch settings. Like most rugged tablets, the touch may require a bit more pressure. An on-screen keyboard is the primary means of input, but there are seven other physical buttons. Power, screen-rotation, lock, windows, and volume are designated to five of those buttons, and the other two can be defined to your liking.
PERFORMANCE
The PanasonicToughPad FZ-G1 has a powerful corei5 processor and RAM to run all your apps efficiently. The processor is is energy-efficient and doesn’t cause the device to hang up or heat up when running multiple tabs or apps, thus enhancing your productivity. The storage capacity is also huge, with a minimum of 256GB with 512GB and 1TB options. The Pen works perfectly for sketching or drawing and feels like a real pen. The 802.11 Wi-Fi connectivity helps reduce interference when streaming or transferring files. The cameras are not as spectacular as those on smartphones. Still, first responders can easily take pictures of events in a location or record good quality videos with both dual cameras and a powerful microphone.
