DISPLAY

The display is an improved 1000-nits high definition display and has anti-glare coatings, which gives you clarity when used outside in daylight. It’s got impressive brightness and contrast, making it a pleasure for viewing indoors and outdoors. We are probably used to devices with the touch that doesn’t respond when you wear a glove, but Latitude 7720 works either way when you wear a glove or not since it is designed for harsh environments. You may have to press the screen’s touch with a bit more pressure than you’re used to in standard tablets. Skeptical? Don’t be. You’ll get used to it with more practice. Included is the stylus pen that allows faster and accurate interaction with its parent’s screen.

PERFORMANCE

Dell Latitude 7220 has a powerful processor and sufficient RAM to run all your apps efficiently, and multi-tabbing/tasking has never been easier. You won’t be missing your regular pc experience when you add in the keyboard with backlit, responsive, and well-spaced keys.

The Latitude 7220 cover is beyond average with more than three levels of RGB backlighting. The typing is also excellent, with adequate travel and snappy feedback. The kickstand holds firmly at your desired writing or viewing angle at rotates up to 180 degrees. The Pen works just fine for sketching or drawing and feels like a real pen when you take notes. And when Wi-Fi seems to be far away, you can always switch to 4G LTE. With assignable RF pass-through, users can stay connected in remote areas or dead zones.

DURABILITY

Latitude 7220 rugged extreme tablet can handle any condition to which it is subjected. If you work in a challenging or harsh and unpredictable environment, this is precisely the device you need. You don’t want to take your precious and expensive iPad Pros or Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus to challenging terrains or environments. That doesn’t mean they’re not durable, but latitude 7220 has a better chance of surviving those environments. This device offers maximum protection against rain, dust, heat/high temperature, cold/very low temperature, sand/dust, and even occasional vibration and shocks. It has an IP65 protection rating meaning it is resistant to dust and water. It has been designed to adhere to MIL-STD-810G protection tests, dropped from 4 feet, and still functioned with no damage. Surprised right? You probably might be wondering if iPad Pro can survive that, but we wouldn’t recommend giving that a try.

Latitude 7220 can survive harsh temperature environments ranging from -20degF to 145degF. If you work in harsh environments and you need a smart device or a tablet, Latitude 7220 rugged extreme is highly recommended, provided that you’ve got the bucks.
